After the decisions by the Zionists, although the Orthodox Jews were opposed to the idea, covert methods were adopted to prepare Palestine for Jewish homeland. Following the treachery by the British, Americans, some Arab politicians and of course the Jews, terrorism, supported by big money poring into the coffers of the Zionist Organization to help purchase land at unbelievably exorbitant price, and finally, threats plus bribes to smaller nations by the USA, a resolution in United Nations Organization was hurriedly passed in the year 1947 partitioning Palestine into Jewish and Arab states. A reign of terror was let loose immediately, with arms arriving from the West, resulting in the dispersion of millions of Palestinians – Muslim and Christian – into the neighboring lands. That terror is yet to subside. Unable to bear, Palestinians have been quitting the land regularly. Those who have remained inside, undergo mental torture on daily basis, apart from one killed here, another there, throughout the year. In recent times, with funds freely provided by the West, Israel has built 800 km. long separation barriers, of 8 meter height. (The Western controlled media that flashed photographs of the Berlin Wall on daily basis, shaming the communists, never shows any of the Israeli wall, until it becomes impossible not to). These 8 meter tall barriers run criss-cross in such a way as not to allow those enclosed from all sides to work but as menial laborers in Israeli homes. With 800 check posts, crossing each of which is not designed to create difficulties or humiliation, or to cause maximum inconvenience, but rather to make it impossible for Palestinians to go to schools, hospitals, or even buy bread. A huge population is kept in a huge prison resembling a concentration camp. As a final nail, the wall is so built as to keep all the water resources on Jewish settlement side which have posh bungalows, leaving the dry areas to Palestinians, who lead ghetto kind of life. These are no secrets to the Western politicians.
The West solidly stands with the Jewish actions against the Arabs, even if those actions are barbarous and hurtful for every human soul, Muslim or non-Muslim. Why? For several reasons. The West has not forgotten the failure of its crusades against Islam and Muslim. A repeat is now being attempted. Iraq was the first step. A few more strides are bound to come. If there has been a slowdown, it is because of the financial collapse. They will set thing right back home, and then take a few other steps. That’s understood to be there in their constitutions between the written lines.
Secondly, Zionists are too powerful in the USA, wealthy, ‘politics and media controllers’ and occupiers of sensitive posts, for any politician to remain long in his profession if he opposes Israeli policies in a big way. During elections they are on both sides: Democratic and Republic. As soon as public opinion favors one side more than the other, they switch the sides, and come to control the establishment. It is a win-win situation for them. Otherwise also, as Alfred Lilienthal noted in his The Zionist Connection, it takes 270 votes to elect a President. 70% of Jewry is concentrated in six states which count for a total of 181 votes. This should explain why electoral campaigns begin with a visit to the Jewish organization AIPAC, announce the future policies concerning Israel and its right to exist on its own terms of existence.
A third reason why the West must keep Israel propped up is that it is its military outpost. The West hopes to not only control the flow of oil (in the short term, until the stocks last, which will be there for perhaps another 25-30 years), but also its agricultural and mineral wealth in the longer term extending to coming centuries. Billions of dollars that mainly USA, and partially Europe pour into Israel each year, is not for nothing. With the financial bankruptcy of the West, the colonial period has to come back, and it is good to be close by where natural wealth is. Recent Russian intentions to set up Naval Bases in the Mediterranean should be looked at in this light.
A fourth, and the most powerful reason is that it is a writing on the wall, visible to every Jew and Christian, that the West does not want the Jews on its lands. Thatcher had complained of the disproportional Jewish influence in the US. The West loves the Jews, so long as they are at a distance. The disproportionate influence that the Jews enjoy in Europe, despite being in a small minority, is alarming to them. There are emigrant Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists in the West. But they are not devoted to the causes of Islamic states, India or China or Korea. But it is strongly suspected that the Jewish loyalty is dual, which turns out to be a single loyalty in ultimate analysis, which keeps the West in anxiety. But, in a world of democracy, freedom, and liberalism there is no way curtailing their power and influence. Therefore, to an average Westerner, let Jews be where they are: in Palestine.
These realities are more evidently obvious to the Jews than to non-Jews. They feel justified in believing that the West is not sincere towards them, and that they must have their homeland away from the Western lands, because, their attitudes towards them in times of crisis are unpredictable. Will they be subjected to persecutions leading up to massacres, is answerable in scary terms. Where should they go, if the fear proves true? Can they reverse the trends, behavioral attitudes and treatment hardened by 2,000 years of practice? Have they ever received such treatment in the Middle-east? Never. So, which is a safer place to live?
However, in the Middle-east, the Jews face another dilemma, especially the Zionists, who control Israel and Israeli mind. It is the threat of influence of the local peoples: influences which could de-Judaize the Jews, leading to assimilation, disappearance of the special Jewish character, and most fearful of all, the melting of the Jews in the pot of Islam. It is well known and acknowledged that the Arab influence is a more powerful influence than that of the shabby, shoddy Western culture. If they are here in Palestine, it is not only to avoid massacres in the West, but also to safeguard and retain their religion and religious culture. Ben Gurion said: “We do not want the Israelis to turn into Arabs. We must fight … to preserve the authentic Jewish values which have been developed in the Diaspora.” Israel is to be a piece of Europe in Hebraic garb on the soils of the Middle East.
The need, the fear, and the “backs to the wall” feeling are underscored by another aspect of their persons: it is the faith that they are a chosen people of God, superior to His other creations, who has promised them the land of Palestine, and a final victory over the rest of mankind who will live thereafter as their subjects on which note the world will end. This “faith” is indoctrinated among the Israelis from childhood, and now throughout educational years for last 60 years with the result that the new generation Jew believes in it, as true as the sun will rise tomorrow. Here is an example of the results of indoctrination. It comes from an atheist biologist:
Israeli psychologist George Tamarin presented to more than a 1000 Israeli schoolchildren, aged between 8 and 14, the account of the battle of Jericho in the book of Joshua:
Joshua said to the people, ‘Shout, for the Lord has given you the city. And the city and all that is within it shall be devoted to the Lord for destruction … But all silver and gold, and vessels of bronze and iron, are sacred to the Lord … Then they utterly destroyed all in the city, both men and women, young and old, oxen, sheep, and asses with the edge of the sword … and they burned the city with fire, and all within it, only the silver and gold, and the vessels of bronze and iron, they put into the treasury of the house of Lord.’
Tamarin then asked the children a simple moral question: Do you think Joshua and the Israelites acted rightly or not? The results: 66% gave total approval and 26% total disapproval, 8% partial approval.
Here is the typical answer: “In my opinion Joshua and the sons of Israel acted well and here are the reasons: ‘God promised them this land, and gave them permission to conquer. If they would not have acted in this manner, or killed anyone, then there would be the danger that the sons would Israel would have assimilated among the Goyem.’”
Another time, in another experiment, involving different children, he gave 168 Israeli children the same text from the book of Joshua, but Joshua’s own name replaced by ‘General Lin,’ and ‘Israel’ by a ‘Chinese kingdom 3000 years ago.’ Now, only 7% approved of General Lin’s behavior and 75% disapproved. (The God Delusion, Richard Dawkins, 2006).
Here is another example of how the indoctrination has affected the ordinary Israeli leading them to the irredeemable state. It has succeeded in producing a whole generation which is close to being psychologically abnormal. It is reported by leading Israeli newspaper:
Haaretz has received some of the publications through Breaking the Silence, a group of former soldiers who collect evidence of unacceptable behavior in the army vis-a-vis Palestinians… Following are quotations from this material:
“[There is] a biblical ban on surrendering a single millimeter of it [the Land of Israel] to gentiles, though all sorts of impure distortions and foolishness of autonomy, enclaves and other national weaknesses. We will not abandon it to the hands of another nation, not a finger, not a nail of it.” This is an excerpt from a publication entitled “Daily Torah studies for the soldier and the commander in Operation Cast Lead,” issued by the IDF rabbinate. The text is from “Books of Rabbi Shlomo Aviner,” who heads the Ateret Cohanim yeshiva in the Muslim quarter of the Old City in Jerusalem.
The IDF rabbinate, also quoting Rabbi Aviner, describes the appropriate code of conduct in the field: “When you show mercy to a cruel enemy, you are being cruel to pure and honest soldiers. This is terribly immoral. These are not games at the amusement park where sportsmanship teaches one to make concessions. This is a war on murderers.” (http://www.haaretz.com/-Feb.12the 2009)
These ideas dominate their minds and explain the present fanaticism, their callous regard for international condemnation, which has led them to defy hundreds of U.N. resolutions and international law and opinion.
The faith and the feeling, strengthened by the Ashkenazi Zionists propaganda, is now so strong, that pure religious voice of the true, practicing, knowledgeable Jews fails to have any impact on them. The ultra-orthodox Jews, respected everywhere but in Israel, have been saying for past 50 years that the Zionist movement is anti-Jewish, that the establishment of the state on Palestinian land is illegal, that the repressive measures against them are contradictory to the way Jews ought to be treating anyone in the world, let alone those whose lands they have usurped.
Judaism forbids and rejects Zionism and the existence of the State of “Israel”. We have been expressly commanded by the Almighty that we are forbidden to have our own sovereignty in this heavenly decreed exile, we are also forbidden to rebel against any nation. Torah believing Jews, under the leadership of the most esteemed rabbis of the 20th century have always opposed and fought against Zionism and ultimately the State of “Israel”. (Rabbi Y. D. Weiss in a speech at Anti Zionist Orthodox Jews at the “Emergency Protest to Stop the Massacre in Gaza” rally, Rockefeller Center, New York City, December 27, 2008).
This highly religious group is opposed to the Zionist on religious grounds. They say,
“We have thousands of legal work of Torah law that have been handed down to us by the Sages of all generations. Not once do we see a word suggesting the establishment of a state. What we do find is warnings against it… Zionism will not replace the Jewish People. The Jewish People will remain strong in their faith and the Zionist State will cease to exist. (http://www.nkusa.org/AboutUs/Zionism/opposition.cfm).
It is openly stated in books written by the founders of Zionism that the means by which they planned to establish a state was by instigating anti-Semitism, and undermining the security of the Jews in all the lands of the world, until they would be forced to flee to their state. And thus they did – They intentionally infuriated the German people and fanned the flames of Nazi hatred, and they helped the Nazis, with trickery and deceit, to take whole Jewish communities off to the concentration camps, and the Zionists themselves admit this. (See the books Perfidy, Min Hameitzor, etc.). The Zionists continue to practice this strategy today. They incite anti-Semitism and then they present themselves as the “saviors”. Here are two replies given by Leaders of the Zionists during World War II, when they were asked for money to help ransom Jews from the Nazis. Greenbaum said “One cow in Palestine is worth more than all the Jews in Poland.” (God forbid)… Weitzman said, “The most important part of the Jewish people is already in the land (of Israel) and those who are left, are unimportant” (May we be spared)…”
Chaim Chassas, in the newspaper of the Zionist’s, Ha’Arutz, 1943, “Zionism and Judaism are not one thing but two different things. And of course two contradicting one another. Zionism starts at the place where Judaism is destroyed…one thing is certain, Zionism is not a continuation or healing of wounded Judaism, but rather an uprooting.”
This aspect, of total disregard of the voice, of not only reason, but also religion as understood by their own religious authorities, is another contradiction of not only their existence but also their existence on Arab lands. On the one hand, the ordinary Jew lends credence to the fact that the safety of his progeny is unpredictable in the West, but on the other, he does not want to live in harmony with those whose land he occupies, despite Geneva Agreements to the contrary.
We are only at the beginning of the contradictions. Today, when Israeli policies have been receiving universal condemnation, and its steps towards the complete annihilation, if not extinction, of the Palestinians is receiving some criticism, some of the Zionists dream of the triumph of Judaism, (which does not accept conversion of non-Jews to Judaism) over the rest of the religions, ideas and philosophical systems. Says a British Jewish Rabbi, Shamuley, a professor at Oxford, whose book Judaism for Everyone, sold in millions,
“I predict that more and more people, Jews and non-Jews, will begin to embrace the particularly Jewish observance of the Sabbath as a way to quiet the clamor and to regain a sense of balance and peace. Get ready to see non-Jewish families setting aside one day a week in which they don’t answer the telephone, rent videos, or surf the net.” (Judaism for Everyone, Rabbi Shamuley Boteach, p.3)
Indeed, the contradiction between Jews, Judaism and Zionism is greater: it is in fact sinister. The Zionists have little regard for Jews and Judaism. Herzl (the founder of Zionism) said about the Jews:
“Simple goyim are better than Rabbis.”
Shabtai Tevet (writer of Ben Gurion’s biography) summarizes Ben Gurion’s attitude (Yediot Achronot, Elul 29, 5746): “The Jewish afflictions which worsened before his eyes, were to him, a source of power for Zionism… There was no one like him who understood to utilize this natural treasure that history bestowed upon the Jewish nation so generously – for the benefit of Zionism.”
Concerning the demand for certificates Ben Gurion wrote: “Today, Eretz Yisroel is in need of settlers, not immigrants… Zionism is not a charitable corporation. We are in need of the superior type of Jews who will develop the national home.” (Historian Yigal Ilam, “Ho’oretz” erev Rosh Hashona 5757) – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QfgvDXsDds
The contradictions do not end here. The Jews believe that God is on their side, and that they are his special creations. But their attitude towards God is amazing. Ardent Zionists and half of Israelis today are atheists. But what about the religious Jews? What do they think about God?
Man’s highest calling is wrestling with God. We are invited to enter into a real relationship with God, involving give and take, not merely bowing and submission. This idea, found only in Judaism, traces its origin to the name Israel (Yisrael), literally, “he who wrestles with God,” as well as to the giants of Jewish history, like Abraham and Moses, who contended with God about punishing sinners. – (Judaism for Everyone, Rabbi Shamuley Boteach, p.18)
No man, woman, or child who roams the earth should ever have to maintain faith in God. The prophet promised that the time would come when we would once again be able to “see God” as a living presence, rather than having to repose faith in His existence. We are not meant to have to believe. Rather, we should be able to see, with our very eyes, God’s presence on earth and all of His blessings. Therefore, we might say that Judaism’s purpose is to make us lose our faith. (Ibid, p.71)
Consider their ideas about God,
There is no guarantee that loving or serving God will lead to any higher reward or ennoblement of character. Indeed, Jews have suffered torture, inquisitions, crusades, gassing, and the fires of the crematorium. Inhuman pain and diabolical suffering have never succeeded in prying the Jew away from his Father in heaven, and judging from his past history, they never will. (Ibid, P. 103).
‘On the eve of Yom Kippur, that most solemn and sacred day, an old Jew looked up to heaven and sighed: ‘Dear God, listen; I, Hershey the tailor, put it to You! The butcher in our village, Shepsel, is a good man, an honorable man, who never cheats anyone, and always gives full weight, and never turns away the needy; yet Shepsel himself is so poor that he and his wife sometimes go without meat! … Or take Fishel, our shoemaker, a model of piety and kindness ‑ yet his beloved mother is dying in terrible pain. … And Reb Label, our melamed (teacher), who loves all the lads he teaches and is loved by all who know him ‑ lives hand to mouth, hasn’t a decent suit to his name, and just developed an eye disease that may leave him blind! … So, on this most holy night, I ask You directly, God: Is this fair? I repeat: Is this fair? … So, tomorrow, O Lord, on our sacred Yom Kippur ‑ if You will forgive us, we will forgive You!’” ‑ (The Joys of Learning Yiddish, p.4).
Or this one,
A MAN BRINGS SOME MATERIAL TO A TAILOR and asks him to make a pair of trousers. When he comes back a week later, they are not ready. Two weeks later, they still aren’t ready. Finally, after six weeks, the trousers are ready. The man tries them on. They are beautiful and fit perfectly. Nonetheless, when it comes time to pay, he can’t resist a jibe at the tailor.
“You know,” he says, “it took God only six days to make the world. But it took you six weeks to make just one pair of trousers.”
“Ah!” the tailor says. “But look at this pair of trousers, and look at the world.”
It is true. The world is deeply flawed. Even the greatest optimist cannot help but notice the prevalence of injustice and suffering. [Judaism for Everyone, Shamuley Boteach, Part Two: The Jewish Faith, Ch: 12, Little Messaiahs, pp. 217-18].
It is confounding to note that if these are the thoughts about God, they should still evoke His name as one who stands by their side, and justify their actions on the grounds of special relationship with Him. Yet, still more amazing are the beliefs of some Jews about why they are here in Palestine. `Abd al-Mu’min, (author of the abridgement of `Aqeedah Tahawiyya’s commentary by Ibn abi al-`Izz) narrated a childhood episode in Iraq, the day in 1948, Radio Stations announced the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine by the UNO. Their neighboring Jewish woman came to his mother weeping. When asked the reason she said that their holy literature has promised that the Jews will be collected together in Palestine just before the end of the world, and wiped out. And this not a stray idea. Several personal experiences have been reported of the well spread idea among the Jews (even at the professorial level in the USA) concerning prophesies of Prophet Muhammad coming true, but not the hands of “these Arabs” but those, who will be very different from them: prophecies of their destruction.
Today, not only Rabbis are saying these things, but even atheist politicians over the world are voicing concern at their inhuman treatment of the Palestinians, informing them of the anger welling up not in the hearts of not merely the Muslims, but those too who do not profess their faith, and warning that their actions are simply self-destructive. But, who are they addressing?
