Hyderabad: Mr. Mohammed Saleem, Chairman of TS Wakf Board called on Mr. Mohammed Jamal, Secretary, Central Wakf Council in New Delhi and discussed various issues pertaining to the protection of Wakf properties.
Mr. Saleem expressed the view that any Wakf Board cannot function effectively without the cooperation of Central Govt. and Central Wakf Council. In order to improve the economic and educational status of the Muslims, it is essential to develop Wakf properties.
Mr. Jan Alam, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs applauded the efforts of TS Wakf Board for identifying wakf properties for development.
Mr. Mohammed Jamal assured that all the benefits of Central Schemes for the development of Wakf properties would be extended to Telangana also. He applauded the efforts of Telangana Wakf Board for digitalization of wakf properties.
Mr. Saleem invited Mr. Jan Alam and Mohammed Jamal to visit Hyderabad so that the welfare schemes initiated by Wakf Board could be reviewed.
