Communal elements thrive unbridled under Yogi Govt.: Maulana Asrarul Haque Qasmi

Kisangani: Communal and anti-social elements thrive unbridled under yogi government and there is nothing like law and order in the state. Rowdyism in the prestigious institution like Aligarh Muslim University is very unfortunate. Hindu Vahini goons assaulted students by barging into the university which is a blot on Indian democracy. This was told by noted scholar and Member of Parliament Maulana Asrarul Haque Qasmi while reacting to the recent incident in AMU. He said the way in which Hindu Vahini members forced themselves into the institution and assaulted the student clearly shows that they have no fear of law and with a sense of political superiority they want to spread riots in the state.

Maulana asserted that BJP and RSS have begun targeting Aligarh Muslim University purely for political purpose. By giving religious colour to Jinnah portrait row, they are trying to tarnish the image of the university. He further said that the former vice president Hamed Ansari is also on the target of communal elements. The hate campaign against him was also launched several times on social media in the past. Hence it is likely that the whole ruckus is a conspiracy to target former Vice President Hamid Ansari, who was on campus at the time.
