Alwar : 28 YO Akbar Khan beaten to death on suspicion of cow trafficking

Alwar: On the late Friday night, a 28-year-old man was beaten and lynched by the mob in Ramgarh town of Alwar, Rajasthan on suspicion of cow trafficking.

The man is identified as Akbar Khan a native of Village Kolganv, Haryana who was allegedly transporting two cows from his native place to Ramgarh’s Lalwandi village, Alwar when a group of people stopped their way in a forest area nearby Lalwandi village and thrashed him and beaten to death.

Anil Beniwal a senior police officer in Alwar told agency ANI, “it is not clear if they were cow smugglers. The body has been sent to the post-mortem and we are trying to identify the culprits and arrest will be made soon”.

While the Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje condemned the incidence in her tweet and assure for “strictest possible action” against the culprits.

“The incident of alleged lynching of a person transporting bovines in Alwar district is condemnable. Strictest possible action shall be taken against the perpetrators.”

Meanwhile, the horrific incidence came into light just a day after the issue of mob lynching raised in Lok Sabha Monsoon session during the debate on no-confidence motion against the BJP government. Where the Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked all the state governments to take strict action against the people involved in Mob lynching incidents.
