A 27 year old Muslim, Saddam Hussein of Rajaji Nagar, Bengaluru is taking care of Rama Temple in the vicinity for the last three years. Thousands of devotees from different places seeking blessings of the deity had been appreciated for the selfless service beyond the religious lines by the practicing Muslim denoting peace, harmony and tolerance, the inner essence of Islam. Hussein is also responsible for maintaining and making necessary arrangements for the temple chariot , taken out for a rally across the area every year. He takes wear and tear of the temple including the premises and the paraphernalia, besides being an office bearer of the Temple Committee too.
