A 30-year-old Muslim bodybuilder was brutally hacked to death by three armed men in Shivajinagar on Tuesday reported sources.
The victim identified as Syed Irfan was a Gym trainer and was a resident of Chandni Chowk Road in Shivajinagar, Deccan Herald reports.
According to Police reports, around 12.30 a.m. near the Old Cemetry Road on Tuesday, Irfan was intercepted by three armed men who arrived on two bikes.
The attackers reportedly chased Irfan up to few meters before finally injuring him and fleeing the crime scene said the sources.
In spite of his injuries, Irfan managed to call his wife and informed her about the brutal attack.
But unfortunately, though his family rushed him to nearby Bowring hospital, he was declared brought dead by doctors.
According to investigations, Irfan who owned an Aquarium shop was also a small-time financier and had got into a heated argument with few men over a woman.
The Shivajinagar police have registered a case and are further investigating the case.
