Muslim youth vow to become part of the constructive efforts

New Delhi: Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) the biggest student organisation of India organised an all India conference in Delhi. Nearly 10000 educated youth from across the country attended the first day of the all India conference. They pledged to preserve the democratic and constitutional values and protect the country along with the Islamic thought and to become part of the constructive efforts.

SIO chief Anhas Mala said this is the period of ‘fitnah’ we have to continue our struggle while practicing the teachings of Quran. He revealed that the journey of SIO began 35-years ago.

General Secretary SIO Khaleeq Ahmed, Jamat Islamic chief Maulana Jalaluddin Umri, Vice President Jamat-e-Islami Syed Sadatullah Husaini and others spoke on the occasion.

Dr.Wael Albattrekhi, Deputy Chief of the Mission, Palestine Embassy to India also attended the conference. The audience by raising ‘Al-Quds Zindabad’ slogan expressed solidarity with Palestine.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was also invited in the conference, but due to the raid on chief minister’s residence he made an excuse for not attending the conference.
